Community Information
Do I Have to Pay HOA Fees Even If I Don't Use the Common Areas?
Yes. As a member of the Association, you share equal responsibility with the 57 other Homeowners for covering the costs to maintain the 5+ acre Common Area. Your assessments fund maintenance, repairs, and other expenses of the Association.
When are my HOA Fees Due?
HOA Fees are paid annually. Invoices are mailed out mid-March, and due by April 15th each year. Any unpaid dues are subject to additional fines and interest as stated in the Association Bylaws. Liens may also be placed after HOA fees are more than 30 days past due.
What happens if I don’t pay or break the rules?
Typically, any late payment or violation receives a polite reminder. Most violations are resolved at this level, with several warnings before further action is taken.
How does one become an HOA board member?
Board members are elected by homeowners during annual meetings. The process, term lengths, and eligibility requirements are outlined in the HOA’s bylaws. Interested homeowners need to nominate themselves or be nominated, then participate in a formal voting process. Serving on the board gives you direct influence over community decisions and management.
